Butterflies

Sunday, after Jack and I met some visiting friends for brunch downtown, we all went to the Brookside Gardens in Silver Spring, Maryland. They have a very cool butterfly exhibit and acres of beautiful gardens. It was hot and a bit crowded, but fun. All those butterflies in one room creeped me out a bit, but the boys loved it. I was impressed with Henry's little eyes following them around!
A Monarch caterpillar munching on a leaf... So many different kinds of pretty butterflies.Jack was the only one they landed on...There were thousands of gorgeous flowers. I particularly liked the many varieties of roses...Those adorably chubby little hands love mommy's face...so sweet.
