A few Fridays ago we got a babysitter for Nora and took the boys to a Sky Sox game.  They're the minor league team that plays right down the street.  I swear it's better than going to a Rockies game!  Cheap tickets in the 5th row and far more manageable overall.  Needless to say, the boys had a great time.  Nora did perfectly with the sitter and it was fun to be able to focus all our attention on Jack and Henry.  This tongues-out pose is better than the heads-turned, which has been their norm lately.

They waited patiently for a ball to come their way the whole game.  No luck, but a nice man a few rows over gave the one he caught to Jack.
Nora goes back and forth between refusing to feed herself and refusing to be fed.  This day she was determined to get every last bit of guacamole out of the bowl.
And this day it was applesauce.  Look at the back of the chair from dirty little hands!  She's such a good eater though, so I'll take the dirty chair.  She doesn't eat a ton, but she eats often and a wide variety.  Oddly enough, she's not crazy about cheese.  A Thomas child not like cheese?? Just a phase, I'm sure.
A random early May snow!
We're back to weather in the 70's and 80's which made it fun to be cold for a day or two.
Nora is in full finger-walking mode.  Luckily Jack is eager to help and just the right height!
Rearranging the kitchen table is still her favorite.
Henry's eyes are starting to get a hint of green in them and Jack's are almost all green now.  Both had these baby blues for the first few years.  Maybe Nora's will stay!
The boys took me out to a movie on Mother's Day.  At their request, they took money from their piggy banks to pay.  I got a little teary at the whole process...they were so very sweet about it.  It was a perfectly relaxing day.  I slept in, woke to a delicious breakfast of baked french toast, went to the movie, read in bed, took a nap, went to the gym and didn't lift a finger for dinner or clean up.  I'm one lucky mama to have such wonderful men in my life.
Brothers taught her the tongue-out trick.  They all think it's hysterical.
