I've been slacking lately, but for a while we were doing really well with our modified at-home Montessori activities. Jack begs for them! He's doing so well in school too. Making great progress with reading and numbers. He spends a considerable about of time each day sounding out words, whether in books or out loud. Ms. Lupita started him on hundreds work last week...he's so proud of himself.
Here he had to sort these objects by their starting letter.
Here he had to put all the numbers in order (0-10) then put the correct number of toothpicks in each cup. This is one of his favorites. He can go much higher now! Here he had to sort these objects by their starting letter.
Eating the "m" marshmallow :)
Henry has made the transition to big boy bed beautifully! Here he is on his first night. He fell out once, a month or two in to it, but didn't seem to be permanently damaged. We're so lucky to have two boys who NEVER get out of bed without us inviting them! Next transition will be bunk beds so baby #3 can have Henry's room. We'll definitely wait a few more months. I'm a bit nervous about them sharing a room, but know it'll be best.
