Grandma Weekend

Maureen came for a visit this weekend. Jack had SO much fun! Didn't hurt that it was 70 degrees all weekend either. We mostly just hung out around the house, but it was a good time. We got some boxes unpacked, some things crossed off the to-do list and Josh and I had TWO dates!!

Grandma and Grandpa got Jack this very cool tool bench, complete with working drill...now Jack's latest favorite thing to do. The best part? It also functions wonderfully as a kitchen...just ask Jack :). Oh, I have to share probably the funniest thing Jack has ever said. At dinner before going to Toys R Us, Jack had been playing with Grandma's wallet and "swiping" the credit cards (sadly, nothing new). We had already planned on going, but when we got in the car, Jack saw the store across the street and said "go there please"...love the please. When we got there and were about to get out of the car, he said to Grandma "get your wallet"!!! I love that he says whatever is on his mind now rather than just repeating what we say. So cute.Jack and Daddy checking out the ducks on the river...All dressed up for a rare night out...Henry also got a fun new toy, but he's not quite ready for it. Needs to be a little more stable on his own. Maybe Jack does see me with coffee too often (he very often says "mommy need coffee" while playing pretend with his kitchen toys)...and he's drinking one handed! Some would say this is gross...I think it's adorable...Henry's all about his hands these days...Jack's very nice uncles have all sent sports jerseys at some point that now fit and Jack loves them! I got this soccer one out bought by Uncle Josh at Disney World last year...Jack was thrilled. He was even more thrilled with making a goal. The jersey is so bright, it would be perfect for wearing to Disney World :).
