Kauai

Finally posting our vacation photos...lots of them! It was a really nice trip. We stayed in an awesome condo overlooking the ocean and Bali Hai on the north shore, in Princeville. It was across the street from where Josh and I stayed on our honeymoon 4 1/2 years ago! Jack loved all the beaches, particularly the sand (mommy's really gonna have to get over the sand-phobia because he was a MESS, but having a blast). He even liked the waves this time! There were a few beaches where the fish swam right up to us...he loved fishy finding with daddy. The Kiluea LighthouseView from the back of the condo. This is part of Bali Hai. Since it rains everyday, there were always cool waterfalls around the island.Cute self-photo of daddy and Jack.Other view from the condo.Josh makes this fun little noise with a piece of grass that Jack adores. Here's Jack making an attempt of his own in the grass in front of the condo.Kauai has wild chickens and roosters everywhere...literally thousands of them. This was the highlight of Jack's trip, I think. He especially liked the cock-a-doodle-dooing at 4 AM!!One of the cleaner days at the beach...Adam and Robbie lounging in the shade.Looking for fish in the water. This was Lydgate Beach...perfect for little ones because there are pools formed by rocks which make the waves very calm. Plus, there's fish. His first fat lip! He was so excited chasing after mommy, he ran right in to the corner of the wall. Learning to "surf" with Uncle Adam.Sweet little boy...Mom, Dad, Adam and Robbie did a sunset cruise of the Na Pali Coast. Josh and I did this on our honeymoon, but opted out this time since I spent the last one leaning over the back of the boat "looking for turtles" after too many Sneaky-Tiki's...plus, they wouldn't allow pregnant women. This is the actual rope swing where Indiana Jones swings in to the boat plane! Josh and the boys gave it a try.Dad and the boys went on an ATV adventure one day. The background here is where Jurassic Park was filmed.Getting dirty at the beach is very tiring! One of the few pictures of Jack and mommy. Dad and Josh snorkeling at Lydgate.Josh and I went out for a date night at an amazing restaurant we enjoyed on our honeymoon.Mom might kill me for posting this one, but I think it's so cute.As is this one...Jack discovered how cool headphones are.Totally exhausted after our red-eye to LA.
