Chicago Visit

We went to Chicago last weekend for a nice visit with Josh's family. Jack had tons of fun being center of attention and more fun than you can imagine chasing poor Maggie, the dog, around. He went crazy squealing every time he saw her! She was a good sport, luckily. We had a nice Mother's Day with the whole family and were able to spend lots of quality time with Josh's grandparents. Grandpa Dee has been pretty sick, so we were really happy to have some extra time with him. We were even lucky enough to have a few nice days, which doesn't usually happen on our trips there, so Jack and Grandma squeezed in a few good walks with duck visits and pine cone collecting.

Watching the planes before we left D.C.Building with Grandpa Bob...they both look deep in concentration!Playing with Great Grandma...not sure what he's having her do here...Jack with his Great Grandma and Grandpa Dee.Eating strawberries from the big chair.Enjoying some wildberry french toast at mommy's favorite restaurant in Illinois, Wildberry's...it's amazing!Grandpa Bob bought all the boys a foam sword and shield to have a "fight". While the fight never happened for some reason, Jack (to mommy's dismay!), had a blast with them. Someone (daddy, perhaps??) even taught him a sword noise to use while flailing it around. He actually looks very calm and peaceful here.Passed out on the flight home. He's getting a little big for sleeping on my lap on planes!
