it's october?

Nora the baby doll hoarder.
Nora is down to one nap a day pretty consistently now so Henry and I miss out on the precious alone time we used to have. But we usually manage to squeeze in at least a few minutes a day for a game or extra books, just the two of us.

Out playing in the cold rain.
Jack is doing Landsharks with his school.  It's a running club for K-6th graders.  To say he loves it would be an understatement.  The boy has always loved to run. This is of course just for fun, no real winner, but they do keep time.  He finished 4th of all the kindergarteners in the first race and 10th among K and 1st! I think there are 5 or 6 schools competing in our district.
Henry and Nora enjoyed playing around on the bleachers. Fall may officially be here...warm during the day, but quite cold in the morning and late afternoon! Yay!
He said "it was really hard, but I didn't stop running the whole time!"  They ran a half mile.

Jack was chosen out of all three kindergarten classes to speak at their first Paragon night.  He read a paragraph explaining how they'd learned about Egypt and explored what makes them who they are.  Paragon is big part of their curriculum, centering much of their learning around social studies.  That's his teacher with him, Mrs. Vinchattle.
