Long Weekend

So, all the nagging has paid off!  Our computer is still not fixed (needs something different every time Josh works on it and we're too cheap to have Geek Squad look at it), so I'm gonna give it a go from Josh's work computer.  I won't be able to do any editing, but I'm hoping it will get ya'll off my back for now :)  I'm just teasing, of course, I've been missing pictures too.  I have a good month's worth of posts to make, but I'll start with what's fresh in my mind.

The Colorado Springs Balloon Classic was this weekend at Memorial Park.  We meant to listen to the alarm and go Saturday, then we meant to go Sunday, but finally made it Monday.  Who wants to wake up at 5:30am on the weekend?  Unfortunately there was just enough wind to prevent the balloons taking off.  They did "stand up" for 30 minutes or so which was good enough for the boys.  We've been talking about this event for some time!  They were amazed at the size of the balloons.  Not so amazed at the loud noise they make though...we enjoyed from a distance.

A walk to the lake...

We thought soccer started Satuday and got the boys pretty hyped about it.  Then we pulled in to an empty parking lot.  Oops!  Not the kind of mistake that goes over easily.  So, Josh took their net and balls to the park by our house, then out for burgers, then we all went bowling.  Big hit!  We did just one game which was no where near enough for Jack...we'll definitely be going back.  Henry was in to it at first, then discovered the swivel chairs.
