Weekend
My Grandma and Grandpa King arrived this weekend for a two and a half week stay. It's going to be so nice to spend some quality time with them and for them to really get to know Jack. In the past, we've only had a few days at a time with them. So, we spent most of the weekend relaxing at home and playing outside. Of course there was a trip to Margaritaville though, which is where Jack enjoyed this enormous sundae. It was shared by the whole table, but Jack got the first tastes. He doesn't really get a whole lot of sugar, but seems to be getting more these days due to my cravings. Can't hardly eat ice cream in front of him without giving him a bite!
Lounging in the grass with Grandma...one of his favorite activities.
Notice the matching legs crossed here. Jack does EVERYTHING Papa does!
Great Grandma treated Jack to a new Halloween Dora book, which of course immediately won him over. The kid loves Dora!
Per Daddy's request, Jack watched a bit of the Bears game on tv last night. He now says football ("foo ba"), Chicago ("cago"), and we're working on Da Bears ("dab"). The Bears won, of course, and even Josh was able to watch, although he did have to wake up super early. I think Sundays are now the highlight of his week...not that they weren't before!
