A big perk of living on base is the fantastic location of our house for firework viewing. We see the Washington Monument and the huge firework display from our front porch! So, like last year, the Sellers came over to enjoy with us. We went across the street to check out the festival the base puts on every year. We were just finishing our hotdogs when it started raining (it always rains on the 4th here!), so we spent the rest of the evening on the porch and watching a movie. It was a very nice day!
