Thanksgiving in the Mountains

An amazing non-profit called Domus Pacis gave us a whole week in Summit County at Thanksgiving.  They do this for Colorado families going through cancer and other life threatening illnesses.  Our house was in Silverthorne and it was perfect! Generous neighbors brought us groceries and dinners and local businesses donated gift certificates and activities like painting pottery, ice skating. It was a very special week of much needed family time.

These sweet faces from Jack are so rarely captured in pictures!

Happy kiddo...typical Henry!

Daily hot tub dips were their favorite

Getting ready for our first ice skating adventure! Jack was upset here because we told him he had to do his fist loop with the trainer thing...he was confident he could do it alone, and he could.  They all did awesome and had so much fun.

Lake Dillon in the background

First time cutting down our own Christmas tree! After lots of hunting, we found the perfect one.  Definitely the beginning of a new tradition for us.

Some post tree-cutting sledding

Super serious about his sledding

Wow! We think we can picture in our minds how much you enjoy life. But seeing these pics reminds us we can't. Thanks for sharing Dana. We love you.
