Thanksgiving in Texas

We drove out to Abilene for Thanksgiving weekend.  Josh's dad, Janet and Abby left D.C. shortly after us, but we hadn't been to visit yet. The kids were instant best friends with Abby.  She played so well with them the entire time...I totally need an 11 year old as lovely as her living with us!
Perfect little zoo.
This makes me laugh...I asked everyone to look at me for a picture and Abby is the only one cooperating. Nora recently learned to climb on chairs and the couch on her own...no stopping her now.
Showing grandpa the flamingos.

This child is completely obsessed with shoes.  Taking them off, putting them on, admiring them, lining them up and getting new ones.
Possibly one of their favorite toys ever.  This crazy huge ball thing.
Rolling Uncle Jon in the ball thing.
Extra large driveway for hours of scootering.
My girl and me.

Working really hard on those bubbles.
Mandy getting her winter's dose of vitamin D.
Jack has never wanted anything to do with dancing.  Nothing.  Then a friend showed him a Wii game where you compete and dance for points.  He's in.
Nora and Mimi deep in conversation.

She was instantly comfortable with Mimi.  Very sweet.

I have many funny pictures of Mandy trying very hard to ride a fancy scooter, but thought she'd appreciate this pretty one more.
